Nickel Iron Alloy 52 Sealing Wire, UNS N14052
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Nickel Alloy

Material Notes: Designed for use with a variety of soft glasses. It has an almost constant coefficient of thermal expansion up to about 565°C (1050°F). Specific uses are glass to metal sealing applications with soft glass and ceramics. When used for sealing purposes, this alloy is usually in the annealed condition because residual cold work distorts the coefficient of thermal expansion.
