Material Notes: Universal 90SB-3 is a 2.25% chromium and 1% molybdenum alloy for welding on steel of similar composition. This alloy is designed for joints in process piping systems, boilers, or pressure vessels. Weld deposits require preheat and postweld heat treatments for optimum mechanical properties.
