Characterization: Arcol LG-56 polyether polyol is a 3,000-molecular-weight polypropylene oxide-based triol. Properties / Applications: Arcol LG-56 polyether polyol is a 3,000-molecular-weight polypropylene oxide-based triol. The terminal end-groups are predominantly secondary hydroxyls and have a relatively low reactivity. It is compatible with most polyether polyols and can be blended with other diols, triols and polymer polyols to achieve desirable modifications of product properties. This polyol is acidified with a low level of phosphoric acid, making it suitable for use in isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. Arcol LG-56 polyol is typically used in the production of solid and microcellular urethane elastomers, seamless and sports flooring, caulks, sealants and crude oil de-emulsifiers. As with any product, the use of Arcol LG-56 polyol in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
