Material Notes: A high conductivity beryllium copper mold alloy. For applications requiring very high thermal conductivity but with moderate strength and wear demands.

PROtherm® is characterized by:

  • Extremely high thermal conductivity
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Good polishability and machinability
  • Good resistance to galling
  • Excellent weldability
  • Rapid, uniform heat transfer
  • Resistance to high temperature (e.g. for engineering thermoplastics)
  • Ability to be coated for higher wear resistance
