Teflon® PTFE white granular molding powders are ideal for molding many different end products and stock shapes. Excellent chemical resistance, electrical properties, high temperature performance, low temperature toughness, plus unique adhesion and flame resistance. Teflon® PTFE granular molding powders are processed by compressing them into a desired shape and heating them at temperatures above their melting point to consolidate the powder. Resin Characteristics: Same characteristics as Grade 8; however, 8A requires less molding pressure. Uses: Isostatic, sheet, and other general molding of thick sheets; chemical linings for pipes and valves; ducting, expansion bellows, and piston rings; large, complex molding. Typical properties for Teflon® PTFE Granular Resin: Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including DuPont Fluoroproducts, in 2015. |
