Material Notes: 76® Synthetic HD Arctic Motor Oil is a full-synthetic, heavy-duty universal fleet engine oil specifically designed for use in on-highway diesel trucks and off-highway diesel equipment operating in arctic climates. It also is recommended for use in gasoline-fueled vehicles and in the hydraulic systems of mobile equipment operating at very low ambient temperatures. Synthetic HD Arctic meets or exceeds the performance requirements of API Service Categories CH-4 and SJ, as well as major OEM specifications for diesel engine oils.

Applications:

  • Commercial fleets with diesel- and gasoline-fueled vehicles operating in arctic climates
  • Off-highway diesel equipment operating at very low ambient temperatures
  • Hydraulic systems of mobile equipment operating at very low ambient temperatures
  • Automatic and powershift transmissions operating in cold climates where the OEM specifies an Allison C-4 quality fluid
Synthetic HD Arctic Motor Oil is licensed for:
  • API Service CH-4, SJ
Synthetic HD Arctic Motor Oil meets or exceeds the requirements of:
  • Cummins CES 20076
  • Mack EO-M Plus
  • MAN 271
  • Mercedes-Benz Sheet 228.1
  • Volvo VDS-2
  • Diesel engines manufactured by OEMs not listed above, including Detroit Diesel, International (Navistar), John Deere, Hino, Komatsu, Kubota and others
  • Allison automatic transmissions in off-highway applications where a C-4 quality fluid is specified
