| Varcum 29354 is a reactive liquid phenolic resin containing furfuryl alcohol monomer and polymer with a minimum amount of water. APPLICATION: Varcum 29354 is used as a liquid resin wetting agent in the manufacture of bonded abrasives. FEATURES: - Formulated to reduce volatile content to negligible proportions while still maintaining viscosity levels adequate for standard wheel production procedures.
- The low volatile content permits the use of this resin in denser wheel grades.
- The low water content permits the use of lime in the wheel formulation.
- May be used as a wetting agent at higher wheel density levels than standard liquid resins.
- Enables the formulator to obtain the greater, higher strength advantages of a liquid resin wetting agent at wheel density grades as high as U or V.
- Mixes and processes satisfactorily according to standard grinding wheel manufacturing techniques.
- May be used with any typical powdered phenolic grinding wheel resin.
