Material Notes: FireQuench® PM1287 is an optically transparent, fire retardant hybrid nanocomposite resin that can serve as a replacement for standard epoxy-vinyl ester and related resins. It can be employed as an unfilled, nanocomposite resin or it can be filled and utilized with reinforcements such as glass fiber. FireQuench® PM1287 has significantly improved thermal and flame retardant properties when compared to all other high temperature thermoset resins.
