Eastman Cristal™ EB364 Copolyester
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP

Material Notes: Eastman Eastar™ EB364 is a copolyester designed to be fully compatible with the PET recycling stream for extrusion-blown molded bottles for the beverage, food, and homecare markets. This resin is suitable for blow molding both thin and thick-walled applications up to 5 liters, while maintaining clarity, chemical compatibility, toughness, and design freedom. Some typical applications include single and multi-serve bottles, bottles with mold integral through handle, bottles for fruit juices, diary, spirits, and oils, bottles for condiments and sauces, large containers for motor oil, and household cleaning packaging. Eastman Eastar™ EB364 copolyester meets the definition of resin identification code #1 (RIC1) as defined by the California Assembly Bill (#906) and by ASTM D7611, as well as European PET Bottle Platform (EPBP). Other end product attributes, including but not limited to size, color, auxiliary components, and availability of collection, may also impact recyclability.
