Sandvik PN90 Nano-Series Cemented Carbide for Printed Circuit Board Printing  (discontinued **)
Categories: Ceramic; Carbide; Metal; Metal Matrix Composite; Nonferrous Metal; Tungsten Alloy

Material Notes: SANDVIK “Nano-Series” cemented carbide grades have been developed to meet the exacting demands placed on solid carbide tooling by modern technology.

SANDVIK “Nano-Series” cemented carbide grades have a tungsten carbide (WC) grain size of 0.2 µm. This grain size is achieved by means of a unique processing route quite different to conventional carbide technology.

These materials have been developed as a result of an extensive research program aimed at optimizing grade wear resistance, toughness and strength.

SANDVIK Nano-Series grade PN90 incorporates 9% Cobalt (Co) and 91% tungsten carbide (WC). PN90 is recommended for solid carbide rotary micro-tooling applications in the ISO K01/K05 range.

It exhibits exceptional performance when sharp edge profiles are required combined with high wear resistance and high toughness.
