Material Notes:	Propriety composition with CTE equivalent to Pyrex® glass. Can seal directly to 7070 glass, Pyrex®, or other grades of silicon. Has excellent thermal shock resistance, low firing temperature, and low shrinkage compared with similar ceramics. Applications: 496 is a fine-grained spray-dried powder that can be pressed into intricate shapes. Machinability lower tool wear than comparable ceramics resulting in lower production costs. GBC Materials Corporation has been acquired by Morgan Advanced Ceramics.
