Borealis LE0151 Easy Strippable Semiconductive Insulation Shield for Medium Voltage Power Cables  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyolefin; Polyolefin, Wire/Cable Grade

Material Notes: LE0515 is an easy strippable crosslinkable semi conductive insulation shield compound designed for medium voltage (5kV-46kV) power cable applications. Application: LE0515 is especially suitable for use in triple extrusion processes. Strip forces in the range of 0.85 – 2.15 kN/m (2-5 lbs/0.5” have been found on cables from dry cure vulcanization lines. Stripping of LE0515 from the surface of the insulation is readily initiated, and it continues easily over a wide range of temperatures without tearing. It leaves a clean insulation surface. Specifications: IEC 60502; BS 6622; NF C33-223/UTE C33-223/NF C33-226; AEIC CS 8-00; ICEA S-94-649; and ICEA S-97-682.
