Material Notes: Pyrocast AR Fine is a fine-grain fused silica castable, offering similar insulation properties, yet lighter weight that the Pyrocast AR formulation. Pyrocast AR Fine is suited for thin wall castings, or cast shapes with less than one inch cross section thickness. Parts cast form Pyrocast AR Fine are heat-treated as part of the manufacturing process to remove free and combined water.
