Westlake MXSTEN® CV77541 LLDPE Plastomer
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Linear Low Density (LLDPE); Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Extrusion Grade

Material Notes: MXSTEN® CV77541 is a barefoot linear low density polyethylene plastomer designed for blown film and extrusion applications. It is recommended for multilayer films as a core layer to increase dart impact, puncture resistance, and tear properties of the overall film. It can also be used to improve flexibility in irrigation tubing, and can be blended with PE recycle streams to enhance physicals and increase recycle incorporation.

Test specimens for blown film: nominal thickness 1.0 mil; blow up ratio 2.5:1, die gap 100 mils at 50% relative humidity and 23°C.
