| Characterization: Arcol LHT-42 polyether polyol is a 4,200-molecular-weight polypropylene oxide-based triol. Properties / Applications: Arcol LHT-42 polyether polyol is a 4,200-molecular-weight polypropylene oxide-based triol. The terminal end-groups are predominantly secondary hydroxyls and have a relatively low reactivity. It is compatible with some polyether polyols and can be blended with other diols or triols to achieve desirable modifications of product properties. This polyol is acidified with a low level of phosphoric acid, making it suitable for use in isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. Arcol LHT-42 polyol is used in a broad range of polyurethane applications, including water-based adhesives, caulks, sealants, cast elastomers and potting compounds. As with any product, the use of Arcol LHT-42 polyol in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
