Chemours Viton® A-331C with MT Black Fluoroelastomer Compound
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Fluoropolymer, TS; Thermoset Fluoroelastomer; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes:
  • Intermediate viscosity level (when compared with related ”O-Ring” polymers DuPont™ Viton® A-202C and DuPont™ Viton® A-402C)
  • Fully precompounded with reduced curative level and incorporated process aid
  • Improved processing with increased mold flow, better mold release with less mold fouling, and improved demolding ”hot tear”
  • Good compression set resistance

Applications

  • Injection, transfer and compression molding of:
    • O-rings, seals, and gaskets
    • Other profiles requiring improved demolding ”hot tear”
    • Extruded O-ring cord, hose, and other profiles

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including the Viton product line, in 2015.
