Material Notes: Varcum 29153 is a one-step liquid phenolic resin in a mixture of butanol and diacetone alcohol.

APPLICATION: Baking-type, metal coating formulation.

FEATURES

  • A versatile, general purpose resin suitable for formulating coatings for a wide variety of applications.
  • Provides excellent resistance to solvents and acids.
  • Good alkali resistance.
  • Provides good flexibility of the cured film.
  • Excellent performance in baking coating formulations for metal surfaces requiring shaping of the metal after coating and curing.
