Material Notes:	Properties and applications: ACEMATT OP 278 is an organic matting agent based on Methylmethacrylate and Styrene(copolymer). Application benefits and achievable characteristics in films: low residual gloss pleasant surface roughness attractive surface structure low coefficient of friction Benefits during film processing: low torque acceleration of gelling high elasticity of film preserved ACEMATT OP 278 is a polymeric matting agent. Methylmethacrylate, Butylacrylate and Styrene are the raw material used to manufacture this copolymer. The particle size of the incorporated matting particle is about 7µm. At a concentration of 1.0% b.w., films are effectively matted. The resulting gloss is very low. The roughness results in a desired grip and appealing surface structure. This matting agent is especially recommended for films based on PVC, ABS and PUR. It can be compounded during the premix step. Information provided by Evonik
