Norplex-Micarta NP338 Phenolic Cotton Laminate Sheet
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Phenolic

Material Notes: NP338 is a combination of two Norplex-Micarta grades, NP310 which is a canvas phenolic, on one side of the laminate, and NP315, a canvas phenolic with graphite added as a solid lubricant on the other side of the laminate. NP338 is ideal for applications requiring high impact strength and low coefficient of friction such as railway couplers. Material is conductive to electricity and should not be used where conductivity is detrimental to the application.
