Total 3960 Polypropylene, Extrusion Grade  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP); Polypropylene, Extrusion Grade

Material Notes: Developmental Grade: High melt flow rate pelletized homopolymer for melt blown fiber applications.

High Purity - FINA 3960 features extremely high purity for processing into blown micro- fibers.

Enhanced Productivity - FINA 3960 produces fine denier blown micro-fiber with low process temperatures and die pressures.

As a result of its improved processability, Fina 3960 exhibits less polymer degradation during processing and improved properties (higher tensile strength, better barruer properties, and enhanced basis weight uniformity) in the non woven web.

FDA - FINA 3960 complies with all applicable FDA regulations for food contact applications.

Recommended Applications - FINA 3960 is recommended for melt blown fiber applications or other applications where low viscosity processing is desired.

Processing - FINA 3960 resin processes on conventional extrusion equipment with typical melt temperatures of 500-610°F (260-321°C).

Data provided by the manufacturer, Total Petrochemicals.
