Synthos HI 552M HIPS
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS); Polystyrene, Impact Modified

Material Notes: High-impact type for a wide range of applications; Processed mainly by injection. Manufacture of consumer goods and technical components which are exposed to higher mechanical stress. Good results are also achieved in the extrusion of profiles.

SYNTHOS PS HI 552M is high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) with a balanced combination of rheological, mechanical and thermal properties, suitable for general application use. It is a thermoplastic material designed for injection moulding and extrusion. SYNTHOS PS HI 552M is a opaque plastic. Product has a form of lens granules of diameter 2,5 to 4 mms. Product may contain small amounts of granulate finer than that mentioned above of irregular shapes. Presence of any mechanical impurities in the granulate is not allowed.
