Material Notes: IA58 is a high-density polyethylene, narrow molecular weight butene-1 copolymer produced by the solution process for injection molding applications. It offers good processability combined with good impact strength and stiffness. It contains antioxidant additives. Its applications include: housewares, toys, and general purpose containers for indoor applications. IA58 has been developed for injection molding under conditions comparable to high-density polyethylene with a similar melt flow index. Recommended temperature profile: 160 to 230ºC.
