PlastiComp Complet® LGF40-TPU CLEAR Rigid Thermoplastic Polyurethane (ETPU), 40% Long Glass Fiber Reinforced  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyurethane, TP

Material Notes: Complet® LGF40-TPU CLEAR is a 40% long glass fiber reinforced rigid thermoplastic polyurethane composite manufactured using a pultrusion process that melt impregnates the fiber with the matrix resin to maximize performance. Long glass fiber reinforcement provides increased stiffness, strength, and durability. Unique chemistry matches the refractive indices of the polymer and glass fiber to produce a translucent material with surface contact transparency. Translucent characteristics allow it to be used for see-through designs while retaining structural performance.
