Ovako 27MnCrB5-2 (EN10083-3:2006) Steel
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Alloy Steel

Material Notes: General Information: WR-Steel(Wear resistant ) WR-steel, stands for wear-resistant steel. This group of steel includes a broad range of grades with a wide range of hardness levels 350 – 650 HV, dimensions and steel grades designed to give you a wear-resistant advantage when making product exposed to a high degree of wear and where service life is important. WR-steels are characterized by consistent properties and cost effectiveness due to optimized alloy content for different end applications. Boron grade 29MnCrB5-2 is a non-standardized grade located in between 27MnCrB5-2 and 33MnCrB5-2. It is suitable for wear parts, but may be heat-treated for good toughness if needed. A tight chemical composition ensures repeatable heat-treatment response.
