Phillips 66 SUPER-STA M NLGI No.2
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant; Lithium Gellant; Organic Soap Gellant

Material Notes: Description: Conoco Super-STA and Super-STA M Greases are premium-quality, extreme-pressure (EP), multipurpose lithium greases recommended for lubrication of wheel bearings, chassis, ball joints, C.V. joints, U-joints, and brake self-adjusting screws found in passenger cars, trucks, agricultural machinery and industrial equipment. They are also recommended for other applications that call for an EP lithium grease. Super-STA M Grease is composed of Super-STA Grease, with the addition of Molybdenum Disulfide (Moly). It meets Mack MG-C performance requirements for a chassis lubricant. Moly is used to reduce wear by maintaining lubrication under conditions of high friction and shock loads. Super-STA and Super-STA M Greases are manufactured with high viscosity-index paraffinic base oils thickened with lithium 12-hydroxy stearate soap stock. They contain rust and corrosion inhibitors, an effective EP additive and a tackiness agent. This additive combination results in quality greases which ensure excellent lubrication and longer bearing life.
