Material Notes: Product Description: Royaltuf™ 498 is a maleic anhydride modified ethylene-propylene-non-conjugated diene (EPDM) terpolymer.

Applications:

  • Rubbery modifier for polyamides polymers provided improved impact resistance at room temperature
  • Amorphous backbone imparting highest impact properties in polyamides a temperatures down to -40°C
  • Impact modifier giving “Super-tough” polyamide properties when used at 20% loading
  • Free flowing pellets are dusted facilitating storage and handling
