Pyrotek Thermollite Insulating Refractory Shapes for Molten Aluminum

Material Notes: Thermollite has been specifically developed for direct contact with molten aluminum and its various alloys. Thermollite provides the specific advantage of reducing heat loss in melt transfer applications involving a low rate of metal flow.

  • Continuous Casting Level Feed Tundishes
  • Other preformed shapes for molten aluminum applications

  • Does not require the application of aluminum resistant coating
  • Does not contain alumina silicate refractory ceramic fibers
