Petroquimica Triunfo Trithene® TX 8079 LDPE - Thermal Shrink Film  (discontinued **)

Material Notes: The Trithene TX 8079 resin is a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) with a high molecular weight that presents an elevated mechanical resistance, which are indispensable characteristics for the operations of unitization of various products such as paints, soft drinks, ceramic materials, palletized products, etc. This resin may be easily processed, making it possible to produce films with good thickness uniformity and shrinking qualities, allowing an adequate unitization that is exempt of breaks. This product complies with ASTM standard D1248-IA5 and the requirements of Brazilian and corresponding legislation of Mercosul and it is in conformity with FDA Regulations 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 2.1, to contact with foodstuff.

Applications: Shrink wrap films for the unitization and palletizing of various products.

Resin Properties: Compressed molded plate. Method ASTM D-1928, procedure C. Film obtained on a 50mm blow film line with barrier screw, 25:1 L/D, 1.0mm die gap, 50µm gauge, 2.3:1 BUR.
