Evonik VESTAMID® DX9313 Nylon 612  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 612 (PA612)

Material Notes: High-viscosity, toughness-modified, heat-stabilized polyamide 612 resin. VESTAMID® DX9313 natural colored is a high-viscosity PA 612 resin developed for the production of systems with higher requirements for heat resistance. The melting point of VESTAMID® DX9313 is about 35°C higher than PA 11 and PA 12 compounds, and allows higher peak temperatures in use. Thereby this compound fulfils the increased demands resulting from higher temperatures in the engine compartment. The material absorbs only little moisture. Therefore dimensions and properties of parts are nearly unaffected through ambient conditions. The process temperatures should be within a range of 240 270°C. VESTAMID® DX9313 nc is supplied as pellets in moisture-proof packaging, ready for processing. Pigmentation may affect values.
