Canadian Wear Technologies Abreco ASTM A-532 Class II Type B Laminated Abressive Resistant High Chromium Cast Iron
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Cast Iron; White Cast Iron

Material Notes: Proprietary grade of high chrome white iron brazed to a mild steel backer plate. This results in a final product that has superior wear and abrasion resistance while also being tough. Abreco plate is often used in high wear applications such as apron feeders, vibratory feeders, chutes, conveyors, crushers, hoppers, transfer points and buckets - to mention a few. The mild steel backing plate also facilitates the welding of a variety of mounting systems, allowing Abreco plate to be installed on any surface. Abreco plate has a hardness of approximately 650 HB or 62/64 Rc and can be cast in variety of custom shapes and sizes to meet the needs of any application.

Information provided by Canadian Wear Technologies.
