White of light yellow powder with slightly bitter taste, nonpoisonous. Specific gravity : 1.45-1.54. Melting point: over 160 o C. Soluble in chloroform, slightly soluble in benzene, ethyl alcohol and carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in gasoline, water and ethyl acetate. Stable in storage.

Application : The product is an accelerator of NR and SR. It has level and middle cure rate and higher Vulcanization temperature. It operates safely, disperses easily and does not contaminate, it is aging resistant. Mainly used in manufacture of tires, rubber goods. Accelerator MBTS works as plasticizer and delayed action activator in polychoroprene.
