Material Notes: This material is popular in applications where thermal and mechanical stress occur together. This material is based on a matrix of high temperature resistant polymers and special glass silk fabrics. Typical applications are thermally and mechanically high-stressed heated presses and moulds. Also KV 3 is used to insulate drop forge dies, in the design of soldering masks and in many other applications.
