Key Features Cleansing effect Emulsifier, Dispersing and Solubilizing properties Enhances Spreading and Foam stabilizing Emollient and Conditioning agent Key Applications Hair Care Skin Care Color Cosmetic Application: CHT-BeauSil™ PEG 205 is a polyether-functionalized siloxane used in various personal care applications. It is compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients and provides stable formulations. CHT-BeauSil™ PEG 205 can be used as lubricant in shampoos or shower gels. In hair care formulation such as hair sprays CHT-BeauSil™ PEG 205 is used as plasticising agent for polymers. CHT-BeauSil™ PEG 205 can be used in shaving foams as foam stabilizer and for improving the gliding properties. Addition Rates Dosage – 1: 0.1 – 2.0% in cleansing formulations Dosage – 2: 0.5 - 3.0% as emulsifier Dosage – 3: 0.3 - 3.0% as emollient /conditioning agent INCI Name: PEG-12 dimethicone Information provided by CHT Group
