Master Bond MasterSil 323SMed Two Component, Silver Filled Silicone
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Convenient handling
  • Addition cured system
  • Outstanding conductivity
  • Meets ISO 10993-5 standard
Product Description: Master Bond MasterSil 323SMed is an easy to use, two component, silver filled silicone system with excellent electrical conductivity along with very convenient processing. Parts A and B each have smooth, paste consistencies. The mix ratio is 1 to 1 by weight, and the working life for a 20 gram mass is 6 to 12 hours. All curing schedules involve adding heat. These options are 8-12 hours at 130-150°F, 4-6 hours at 160 to 180°F or 2-3 hours at 190 to 210°F. The system has low shrinkage upon curing and good dimensional stability. MasterSil 323SMed has good adhesion to many materials including metals, ceramics, glass, composites, and many types of rubber and plastics. It has exceptionally good flexibility and elongation. The system can withstand aggressive thermal cycling as well as mechanical and thermal shocks. Its paste consistency allows it to be easily applied as an adhesive, sealant or coating. As an addition cured system, it cures readily in thicknesses up to 1/16th of an inch, if needed. Both Parts A and B contain silver and appear that way in color. The service temperature range is -80°F to +400°F. MasterSil 323SMed is a prime candidate for medical device applications where biocompatibility, electrical conductivity, along with resounding flexibility and high temperature resistance are essential requirements.

Product Advantages:

  • Paste consistency
  • Long working life
  • Superior conductivity
  • Meets ISO 10993-5
