Solvay POLYCARE® BOOST Surfactant
Categories: Fluid

Material Notes: Description: Water based emulsion of a high molecular weight linear polydimethylsiloxane containing a high delivery conditioning polymer

C.T.F.A. /I.N.C.I. Name: WATER (AND) DIMETHICONE (AND) POLYQUATERNIUM-74 (AND) LAURETH-7 (AND) SODIUM BENZOATE (AND) PHENOXYETHANOL

Compatible with most surfactant solutions and water soluble polymers.

Available in: Europe, Latin America and North America

Applications: Water based emulsion of a high molecular weight linear polydimethylsiloxane containing a high delivery conditioning polymer. POLYCARE® BOOST can be introduced easily by simple addition and dilution in water based personal care formulations. It is compatible with any kind of surfactants. It requires some viscosity or the use of a thickening polymer to be stabilized. Conventional technologies for the stabilization of the emulsion can be used, such as polysaccharide polymers, synthetic cross-linked polymers, specific association of surfactants. POLYCARE® BOOST allows a controlled uptake of silicone on hair. Due to its 0,4-0,9 Information provided by Rhodia, Rhodia has been acquired by Solvay.
