Material Notes: DOWLEX® 2553 Polyethylene resin is a narrow molecular weight distribution copolymer designed to offer good environmental stress crack resistance and impact strength with excellent stiffness for housewares, containers, and large toys. It has good processability over a wide range of extrusion coating conditions. This material complies with U.S. FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.2 (a) for food packaging applications. The regulation should be consulted for complete details.
