Reinforcing Fiber Flexibility: S300 - Sylramic SiC
Preceramic Polymer Matrix Precursors: S300 - Crystalline (SiC + Si3N4) or SiC
Physical Attributes: Dense Matrix (<5%), High Temperature Capability, Good Matrix Dominated Properties and Wear Resistance

Typical Applications: Commercial Aviation Exhaust, Military Aircraft Propulsion Exhaust, Industrial

Produced using the Polymer Impregnation & Pyrolysis (PIP) process. This versatile and robust process is well suited for the fabrication of complex components. The PIP process utilizes a combination of polymeric and ceramic processes, combining a variety of ceramic fibers, fillers and pre-ceramic polymer resins to produce engineered ceramic composite structures for a broad range of industries and applications.
