Material Notes: KYDEX® 5555CL is a proprietary, integrally colored, high performance thermoplastic sheet specifically formulated to meet the fire safety needs of the aviation industry. KYDEX® 5555CL is an environmentally sustainable solution containing 50 to 100% recycle content intended for hidden components where color variation and minor surface imperfections are acceptable.

KYDEX® 5555CL is formulated to exceed the fire safety needs of the aviation industry with a maximum heat release of 55/55 and smoke development of 150. KYDEX® 5555CL is a cost effective solution for non-aesthetic and hidden parts.
