Material Notes: Description: Conoco Spectrum Cutting Oil is a multifunctional cutting fluid formulated with a sulfurized base oil, is a balanced additive system and is suited for a wide variety of machining applications, including metal removal, broaching, tapping, reaming and threading. It satisfies most metal cutting requirements and can be used as a general-purpose cutting oil in most machine shops. It is recommended for cutting both ferrous and nonferrous metals, but should be used on copper or copper alloys only if slight staining or discoloration is permissible; otherwise, use Conoco Transparent Cutting Oil.
