Lubrizol Stat-Rite® X-5111 Static Control Polypropylene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP); Polypropylene, Molded

Material Notes: Stat-Rite® X-5111 is a static dissipative Polypropylene alloy. Stat-Rite® X-5111 utilizes the patented Stat-Rite® inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) alloy system to provide clean, permanent ESD protection. Stat-Rite® IDP alloys provide consistent static dissipation even when extruded or injection molded.

Features:

  • Permanently static dissipative
  • Humidity insensitive
  • Ultra-Clean: low off-gassing, low ionic contamination
  • Colorable
  • Durable: Can be used repeatedly.
  • No carbon/particulate fillers

Applications:

  • Cleanroom supplies
  • Semiconductor handling
  • Electronic component handling
  • Disk Packaging

Properties of all Stat-Rite® polymer products in the molten state are adversely affected by moisture. Although Stat-Rite® compounds are dry when packaged, trace amounts of moisture can be absorbed during storage and handling. For best results, always dry the material three to four hours at 70°C (160°F) in a dehumidifying hopper dryer.
