Material Notes: Product highlights: MONARCH 430 specialty carbon black is an all-purpose regular color carbon black with low structure, allowing for lower viscosity or higher pigment loadings in a variety of applications.

Key applications: MONARCH 430 specialty carbon black is suitable for use in printing inks and other applications.
Printing inks: MONARCH 430 specialty carbon black is a general purpose pigment black that is broadly applicable in a variety of inks, including liquid, paste and lithographic inks. It provides good rub resistance of the image and viscosity and flow properties to the ink.
Other applications: This product is commonly used in adhesives and sealants, construction applications and in dispersions for both leather and textile colorants. The dispersibility of MONARCH 430 specialty carbon black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. A product with similar morphology, BLACK PEARLS® 430 specialty carbon black, is available in an easier to handle pelleted form.
