Lubrizol Stat-Rite® X-5076 Static Control High Impact Polystyrene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS); Polystyrene, Impact Modified

Material Notes: Stat-Rite® X-5076 is a static dissipative, High Impact Polystyrene alloy. Stat-Rite® X-5076 utilizes the patented Stat-Rite® inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) alloy system to provide clean, permanent ESD protection. Stat-Rite® IDP alloys provide consistent static dissipation properties when thermoformed into complex tray designs. Gardner Drop - Impact Strength is 1.0 in-lb/mil per ASTM D-5420-93.

Features:

  • Superior static decay
  • Clean: no sloughing, low offgassing, low ionics
  • Consistent ESD properties after thermoforming
  • Carbon-free protection

Applications:

  • Electronic component packaging
  • Tape & reel
  • Component handling trays

Properties of all Stat-Rite® polymer products in the molten state are adversely affected by moisture. Although Stat-Rite® compounds are dry when packaged, trace amounts of moisture can be absorbed during storage and handling.
