Material Notes: Description: Tygon® S-50-HL: Originally developed for use in cardiac surgery, Tygon® Medical/Surgical Tubing's consistent quality provides dependable performance in medical device applications. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics compounds its own materials to specific formulation requirements using select ingredients that have been carefully qualified and specified. It has been fully tested for biological safety to the ISO 10993 standard. Durometer hardness: Shore A, 66. Tygon® Medical/Surgical Tubing can be sterilized by radiation, ethylene oxide, steam or chemical methods.
