Butene Copolymer; for Caps and Closures

Features:

  • Outstanding balance of stiffness, cold temperature impact, toughness and ESCR
  • Excellent processability
  • Good organoleptic properties and color

Additives:

  • Processing antioxidant
  • Slip

Applications:

  • Caps and closures for non-carbonated beverages
  • Contains slip agent to ensure optimal removal torques
  • Suitable for injection and compression molding

United States: SCLAIR 2807CC resin complies with the specifications contained in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 for olefin polymers, para. (c) 3.2a, and may thus be used in the United States as an article or component of an article intended for use in contact with food, without temperature or food-type restrictions, subject to technical suitability.

NOVA Chemicals polyethylene resins are biologically and chemically inert.
