Covestro Bayhydrol® UH 2305 Polyurethane Coating
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Adhesives, Sealants, and Coatings; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS

Material Notes: Aliphatic, anionic/non-ionic polyester-polyurethane dispersion. Shear-stable combination binder used in the formulation of flexible two-component polyurethane top coats with pleasant handle, e.g. soft-feel systems.

Properties / Applications: Bayhydrol® UH 2305 can be used as a combination binder with hydroxy-functional resins, primarily Bayhydrol® U XP 2698, in the formulation of highly flexible two-component polyurethane top coats, e.g. soft-feel systems. After crosslinking with, for example, Bayhydur® 3100, force-drying (e.g. 30 - 45 min at 80 °C) yields films with a pleasant handle and good resistance to abrasion and water.
