Varcum 29401 is a one-step, oil-soluble, solid phenolic resin based on tertiary butyl phenol. APPLICATION: Formulating elastomer-based adhesives, principally neoprene/phenolic solvent cements. FEATURES - May be employed in combination with most types of synthetic rubber and solvent systems in general use in the adhesive industry.
- Provides a high level of hot-bond strength due to its high capacity for complexing with magnesium oxide.
- Offers long-term heat reactivation stability.
- Imparts outstanding resistance to ultraviolet light and/or heat discoloration and staining.
