Applications
ALATHON L 4907 is a high molecular weight high density copolymer with broad dimodal molecular weight distribution. This resin exhibits high density and stiffness and is designed for grooved feed and smooth bore equipment. Typical applications include merchandise bags, grocery sacks, roll stock and produce bags.

Regulatory Status
L 4907 meets the requirements of Food and Drug Administration regulation, 21 CFR 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "…articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Specific limitations or conditions of use may apply.

Processing Techniques
Specific recommendations for processing L 4907 can only be made when the processing conditions, equipment and end use are known.

Typical Extrusion Conditions: BUR=4:1, Neck Height=8 Die Diameters, 0.5 Mil Film, Melt Temperature- 390-410°F(199-210°C)
