Wacker Elastosil® LR 3856/20 A/B Liquid Silicone Rubber

Material Notes: High oil-bleeding liquid silicone rubbers of the ELASTOSIL® LR 3856 series are paste-like, easily pigmentable two-component products with short curing times and very good demoldability (high hot tear resistance). Shortly after curing a thin oil film with lubricating properties forms on the surface. The vulcanizates are opaque, have very good mechanical and electrical properties, excellent cut resistance, and low compression set without post-cure.

Properties: The products can be used within a temperature range of - 55 °C to + 210 °C. The addition of heat stabilizers at service temperatures of more than 180 °C is recommended.

Application: ELASTOSIL® LR 3856/20 A/B is particularly suitable for the economical production of electrical connector seals and mat seals for the automotive industry.
