Domo TechnylStar™ S 60G1 V30 30% Glass Reinforced Nylon 6, Flame Retardant
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 6 (PA6); Nylon 6, Glass Fiber Filled, Flame Retardant

Material Notes: This Halogen free flame retardant grade, based on high fluidity Technyl Star, combines excellent all-round mechanical properties with outstanding flame retardancy and electrical performance. This product is ideally suited for applications such as MCBs and contactors as well as being able to be used in many varied thin wall applications where its high flow polymer base enables it to achieve a UL94 V-0 rating down to a 0.4mm wall thickness. This product is available in a number of different colors including the standard Natural, light and dark Grey and Black. Specific colors and laser marking grades optimized for YAG and UV laser types are also available upon request.

For all products containing Flame additives Rhodia recomends the use of high Chromium, low Carbon coating for the steels (example CR19% C1.9%). The use of this steel can help to prevent corrosion, extend the equipment lifetime and allow greater parameter flexibility.

Information provided by Rhodia; Rhodia has been acquired by Solvay.

DOMO Chemicals has acquired Solvay’s Performance Polyamides Business in Europe.
