Material Notes: Finished parts and basic shapes made from 40% by weight graphite filled polyimide material for applications requiring a low coefficient of thermal expansion, self lubricating properties, and good dimensional stability and elevated temperatures. Applications include: aerospace sealing rings and other components, valve components, and glass handling components.

Specification Qualifications: ASTM D 6456-99 Standard Specification for Finished Parts Made from Polyimide Resin (Type II Class 2M). SAE AMS 3644G Polyimide, Molded Rod, Bar and Tube, Plaque, and Formed Parts (Class 3 Form M). MIL-R-46198 Resin, Polyimide, Hot Pressed or Pressed and Sintered (Type II Class 2M).
